I took PEP after being sexually assaulted and I only started to feel sick after the first week. I think we need more accurate information on the side-effects of PEP so people know what to expect.

I am a qualified ICU Nurse. Daily we encounter victims of violence. I am starting PhD and aim to change the current situation that forensic nursing is not a recognised as a speciality, even Legal Nurse Consultant can fill a role in crime prevention, and who is more exposed to the victim and the family than the nurse who is the first line of contact with evidence, and the victim.

Any input can be email directly to me.

I really like what this organization and the issues it seeks to address. As a single parent of a boy child, I am finding that my son is affected by all the negativity in the environment and is disillusioned that it seems males are always presented in the media as proverbial ogres. The development initiatives that focus purely on girl child programmes seem to get him in a knot of some kind. Any programmes out there to mentor boys to restore confidence and manage negative perceptions in this area?

It's a shame that nurses could be subjected to this horrendous treatment. It's dissappointing to continue training nurses in forensic field
when their training cannot be recognised. Maybe our nursing council should be taking a leading role in prescribing the training
standards for the course. Nurses are being urged by our national government to develop themselves in order to improve the quality of nursing care
that they render. The conditions of service and the state of affairs of our public hospitals make it harder for us to render total uncompromised
care, but we endure these hardships because of our devotion and commitment. I have been working in forensic wards for nealy twenty years
but i cannot enrol at any institution to study forensic nursing because it's not given due recognition.

Good day.

I am a South African woman who is trying to change South Africa’s useless Justice System for the protection of woman and children. I have started a petition online that has the ability to reach worldwide attention. Many of the signatures that I am receiving are from people all over the world. It is growing very slowly and we need all the help we can get to reach over 100 000 signatures. Once I have this I will contact local reporters and I will get this to the Justice Departments doorstep and if they don’t wake up then I will stir it internationally so that there disgrace is made public! I am sure you know the extreme suffering of these survivors and it needs to stop. This petition has the ability to save life’s if we EMPOWER IT.

These raping scumbags need to be put behind bars, no bail, no mercy- 50 years to life sentencing. It needs to happen, the less raping criminal minds that are walking the streets, the less woman and child victims we will have. We need to address the root of the problem and make an example of these men so that others will think twice!

Please – help forward this to all the members of your organisation who will sign this and forward it on so that we can actually take a stand in this country. Bellow is the link that can help us change the country we live in and protect woman and children. We need to be the voice of these woman!

Click the link below to see the petition page on Change.org.

This is not a half hearted passive attempt, I am dead serious about driving this all the way home and winning it for CHANGE.

I will be eternally grateful for your support.
